Ryeowook wants Super Junior to be known as singers, not just ‘variety stars’

While wrapping up their first Korean concert on February 13th, Super Junior-K.R.Y’sRyeowook spoke about his feelings on Super Junior’s ‘variety image’ through tears.

He began, “We held this concert in Japan and Taiwan first, and I really wanted to perform for our Korean fans as well, so I’m very sorry for that. Super Junior’s known for their funny and ‘variety’ image.. But I personally think that our singing image is just as important.”

Tearing up, he continued, “We’re able to hold concerts like this because all of you (fans) exist. We’ll continue to work hard in order to become a Super Junior that holds a lot of concerts as well.”

Kyuhyun and Yesung commented, “He’s really an angelic person. Thank you so much for coming tonight.”

Lee Soo Man advised Super Junior’s Heechul to date within the company

Super Junior’s Heechul recently revealed some insight onto what SM Entertainment chairman Lee Soo Man had said in regards to dating amongst idol celebrities.
On the February 9th broadcast of MBC’s ‘Radio Star,’ Heechul said, “Lee Soo Man advised to date within the company.”
While imitating Lee Soo Man’s voice, Heechul revealed, “Alright, go ahead and date within the company. It’s more comfortable for us too… That way if a scandal breaks loose, we can easily block it.”
SES’s Shoo responded to Heechul’s voice imitation laughing, “‘It’s been a long time since I’ve heard that.”
To this Kim Gura agreed, “He’s saying that he’d rather have you guys [dating] inside rather than outside.”
Heechul’s comments has sparked the interest of fans and some have inquired whether there have been or if there currently is any in-company dating going on amongst the SM Entertainment artists.

miss A’s Suzy & Kim Soo Hyun share a shy kiss on “Dream High”

miss A’s Suzy attempted her first kiss scene recently for KBS’s upcoming drama, “Dream High“!

The scene in the still-cut revealed today features Suzy (who plays the role of ‘Hyemi’) confessing her feelings to her naive country-boy crush, Kim Soo Hyun (who plays ‘Samdong’).

She then asks him to later enter ‘Girin Arts High School’ with her. In their last farewell, the two characters share a shy kiss before Hyemi leaves by bus.

Producers introduced the kiss scene to act as a teaser for their fate in the future; ‘Samdong’ is expected to be putting aside his country life and single mother in order to go find Hyemi in Seoul.

Regarding the kiss scene, Suzy later revealed, “The scene wasn’t in the actual script and was an on-the-spot addition by the director. I was surprised at first, but we fortunately got an ‘OK’ on the first try.”

Super Junior’s Ryeowook uploads cute selcas with members

Super Junior’s Ryeowook uploaded some adorable selcas he took with fellow members Donghae and Sungmin.

Having performed on MBC’s “Music Core” earlier, Super Junior flew to Guangzhou, China on December 25th for their special “Super Show 3“ concert. The next day, Ryeowook tweeted, “We came back to Korea! Christmas has gone by. We flew on the plane in the middle of the night. Good morning!”

The boys must be tapped out of energy, yet they always manage to find some for selca moments.

Who is the person on Heechul’s cellphone wallpaper?

On a recent broadcast of ‘100 Points out of 100‘, Super Junior’s Heechul was forced by F.T. Island’s Lee Hongki to reveal his cellphone wallpaper.

As it turns out, the mystery person in the wallpaper is Wonder Girls’ Sohee! Along with this revelation, the fact that Sohee being Heechul’s ideal type was brought up again, which made Heechul exhibit both an embarrassed and proud expression.

Hongki suggested, ‘Change your wallpaper quickly,’ to which Heechul responded, ‘I can change it to nothing else,’ further showing his unchanging affection for Sohee.

Soon, however, Heechul shyly added, ‘Fine. I’ll fix it,’ causing laughter in the studio.
